#Chiamatiaraccolta, our call to action to clean up Italy

Butts on the street, plastic bottles on the beach and litter left lying around as if it were nothing. And those garbage bags that overflow from the bins? And those improvised and abusive dumps that are so horrid and smelly? It was us, none other than us: we persist in insulting the nature that surrounds us, also putting our future health at risk.

And it is for this reason, in order not to remain alone to complain and watch, that, on the occasion of Earth Day, April 22, our environmental initiative of active citizenship kicks off, a call to action organized by Vanity Fair and MayDayEarth.org. The idea is that the degraded areas that would need a recovery intervention be reported, thus making them the protagonists of one of our five redevelopment campaigns.

Just post on Instagramon the Stories or in the feed, a photo of a dirty and forgotten area, tag @VanityFairItalia and @MayDayEarth and use the hashtag #Called. To do this, there is time until May 8th. We will undertake to clean up those areas that you indicate to us: indeed, we would like to do it with you on May 28, when, armed with gloves, bags and lots of patience, we will throw away everything there is to throw away, restoring order and beauty. Thanks if you want to participate: as soon as you show us where to intervene, we will be able to give you all the practical indications to get to work. Keeping this world cleaner makes you feel good and happier.
