It seems the collaboration between Pantene and Chiara Ferragni has come to an end, who had chosen her as brand ambassador in 2014. Official confirmation from the parties has not arrived but the news of the termination of the collaboration between the influencer and the hair products company had already been in the air for a few months. In March, for example, at the launch event of the new line of Pantene products, Chiara Ferragni there was not.
And now the company has launched a campaign starring one new testimonial: the Israeli model Havi Mond. Forty years old (four older than Ferragni), born and raised in Safed, Israel, to a Jewish family, in her career Mond has collaborated with some of the most prestigious fashion brands including Chanel, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Yves Saint Laurent and Armani Jeans.
Many on social media have noticed that Mond looks a lot like Chiarajoking about the fact that it would be one «cheaper lookalike» and “less problematic” than the digital entrepreneur overwhelmed by the Balocco scandal (just a few days ago the Civil Court of Turin ruled that the communication linked to the sale of the pandoro was “misleading”).

If the collaboration with Pantene is really over, for Ferragni it would be yet another contract missed due to pandoro-gate: the first to disappear was Safilo (who recently announced the collaboration with David Beckham), followed by Pine cone (who had entrusted the influencer with the promotion of some school products). While Coca Colaafter the scandal broke out, had blocked the use of the commercial with Ferragni created in December 2023. In the initial days of Balocco-Gate, in December 2023, the announcement also arrived of another beauty collaboration for Chiara Ferragni, with the Swiss brand Arval Cosmetics which we at Vanity Fair had also written about. The press release read: «Arval Cosmetici is pleased to announce an excellent partnership with Chiara Ferragni, icon of digital communication and internationally renowned entrepreneur, which will cover the entire year 2024». The presentation of Chiara as a new arrival in the Arval family had to coincide with the relaunch of the brand's most iconic collection, Couperoll, a revolutionary product against rosacea, launched more than 50 years ago and quickly became a market leader. But Chiara was absent from the February press conference.
Ferragni is silent on the agreements with Pantene, at least for the moment. And on social media he posts photos of trip to Los Angeles with friends Veronica Ferraro, Chiara Biasi, Martina Maccherone and Pardis Zarei: «Back where it all began», wrote the digital entrepreneur, who lived in the Californian city for some time.
