“I am anguished and embittered by the violence that continues to exist in Milan”. That is how Chiara Ferragni appeals on Instagram to the mayor of Milan Beppe Sala regarding the safety of the city where he lives with his family. “Every day I have acquaintances and loved ones who are robbed at home, small neighborhood retail shops that are emptied of the daily income, people stopped in the street with weapons and stolen of everything. The situation is out of control. For us and our children we need to do something ».
To prove Chiara Ferragni right are several violent episodes that took place in Milan in recent weeks: from the snatching of luxury watches in the center – at the beginning of July a Patek Philippe worth 70 thousand euros was stolen from a Brazilian tourist, while a Richard Mille watch worth 800 thousand euros was taken off from an Italian entrepreneur – to the numerous raids of thieves inside private apartmentsfrom that of Tommaso Zorzi to that of Chiara Biasi, a friend of Chiara Ferragni.
While waiting to understand if Palazzo Marino will try in some way to do something to urge the prefecture and the police headquarters to intervene more carefully on the issue, the leader of the Lega del municipal council Alessandro Verri vents on Facebook: “Chiara Ferragni also asks the mayor more security. Finally, even the radical chic have understood this ». While Michele Albiani of the Democratic Party, president of the Security Commission in the Municipality, adds: “Net of the methods and tones used by Ferragni, probably it will be necessary to give it credit for having given visibility to the topic, so as to wake up someone in Rome to send us all the police forces that were promised to us ».
