Shocking car accident caused by a stolen car in Chicago. The driver of the stolen vehicle went the wrong way in Chicago’s Chatham neighborhood around 5pm on Wednesday and collided with seven other passing vehicles.
From the conflicts two people died and 16 others were injured. After the severe collision, the stolen vehicle “caught” fire, as a result of which the two people who were in it lost their lives.
Seven children and nine adults were hospitalized as a result of the crash. The condition of the injured ranged from fair to good as of Thursday morning, authorities said.
At least 10 ambulances were called to help the injured. “It was unlike anything I’d ever seen before, and I’ve seen a lot of accidentsChicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Merritt said.
