“Homosexual couples who sued the State of Chile will immediately withdraw their complaint from the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. Thanks to the courage, strength and perseverance of these couples, today we can have the right. Thank you”, wrote Movilh on social media.

“This is the best face of politics, the one that shows us the willingness of actors to achieve the common good, the perspective of the State that permeates the temporality of governments, the capacity for understanding and agreement of people that they have different positions in relation to to a matter that has legal dimensions”, he added.
