In the donation of 150,000 doses of the Sinovac coronavirus vaccine by China confirmed on Sunday night (04/04) its president El Salvador, Nagib Boukele. These installments come in addition to the 2,000,000 already purchased by the government of the country in Central America.
“I received a letter from President Xi Jinping informing me that he would donate 150,000 doses of vaccine against COVID-19 in our country “, Boukele wrote, in a post on Twitter.

The donation will help El Salvador, which has a population of about 6.5 million and has been launching the AstraZeneca vaccination campaign since February.
According to the APE-MPE, El Salvador has reported 64,431 cases of infection by it and 2,025 deaths by COVID-19.
