China has officially allowed the testing of a flying car: the release is planned in 2024

Flying cars for most are just a fantasy from science fiction films, but Chinese engineers were initially sure that these vehicles have a future, because they are able to unload traffic interchanges from the flow of “ordinary” cars. Moreover, while the whole world is working on unmanned robot taxis and other driving assistants, the Chinese company AeroHT, which is a subsidiary of the automobile giant XPeng, has officially announced that the Civil Aviation Administration of China has issued the relevant permission to test flights of the XPeng X2 two-seater electric vehicle.

This means that the flying car in an instant turned from a crazy idea into a project that is quite suitable for implementation. Now the experts are planning to actively test the XPeng X2 flying car in order to collect the necessary information that is needed to create a prototype of the XPeng X3. And if everything goes according to plan, the third-generation flying car should be sent into the air as early as 2024, and mass production is scheduled for 2025. And the most interesting thing is that the novelty, which will be able to fly a distance of 1000 kilometers on a single battery charge, will be sold for about 140 thousand dollars – relatively inexpensive, given that this is the vehicle of the future.
