China’s armed forces announced today the launch of new, extensive military high schools in the Taiwan Strait, just a day after exercises related to the exclusion of the island, which Beijing considers as a province of China. The new Gymnasiums aim to “test the capabilities of the troops in terms of (…) exclusion and zone control”, as well as to carry out “precision strikes in key targets,” explained Xi Y, a spokesman for the Eastern Business Theater of the Chinese Army.
