The Chinese space agency CNSA announced the readiness of the first Chinese Mars rover “Chzhuzhong” to work and published the first photos and videos received from the Red Planet.
As noted by the agency, the photographs show how the Zhuzhong is separated from the descent module, and also deploys the antenna, solar panels and other mechanisms in normal mode.
Much lower quality videos show the descent module detachment from the Tianwen-1 probe orbital module.
Recall that on May 15 at 1 am Beijing time, the Chinese space probe Tianwen-1 entered Mars orbit, and already at 7:18 am the descent module with the Zhurong rover successfully landed on the surface of the Red Planet.
