The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, together with other government departments in China, has released a plan according to which the production of industrial robots by 2025 should be doubled compared to 2020. Thus, the authorities intend to expand the use of robotics in the country. Officials are calling for a focus on ten key robotics applications and breakthroughs in more than 100 innovative applications and solutions. More than 200 model application scenarios with advanced technology, innovative modes and outstanding results will be promoted, leading enterprises in the use of robotics will be established. In addition, the Chinese authorities are focusing on establishing a joint innovation system for the production and application of robots, as well as accelerating the development and promotion of robot application standards.
