Luckily for lovers, Chinese scientists have created a silicone device that will allow them to share kisses with the movements and warmth of real lips.
This device has caused a stir on social networks, as there are those who consider that the use of it could be beyond human reason, while others believe that it is the ideal option for long-distance couples to keep the flame of love burning.
According to Global Times, the device was created by Jiang Zhongli, a student at the Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronics Technology. The use of the device is simple, you just have to pair it with the phone via bluetooth and an application. The user then kisses the silicone lips, which detect and store the pressure, movement and temperature of the person’s real lips.
The device then replicates the collected data to the other user’s device, creating the sensation of a real kiss but from a distance. The artifact can be used by lovers whether they are hundreds or thousands of kilometers away.

Jiang Zhongli said the idea for the device came about because he was in a long-distance relationship with his girlfriend and only spoke to each other on the phone, “that’s where the inspiration for this device came from.”
In addition, the inventor said that he applied for a patent in 2019 and it ended in January 2023. Jiang said he was amazed that his invention became popular, so he hopes that someone will be interested in the device and refine the design so that it can go out sale to the public as soon as possible.
