Chinese family adopts dog and discovers, two years later, that animal was a bear

The expression “so cute it looks like a bear” has never made so much sense to dog lovers.

In China, a family was surprised to discover, two years after the adoption, that the “doggie” that they thought was a tibetan mastiff was actually a bear . The case happened in 2018, in Yunan province, but it recently went viral again.

According to the American website New York Post, Su Yun, who lives in a village on the outskirts of the city of Kunming, bought the animal during the holidays in 2016. However, as time went by, the family began to suspect the size that the pet was acquiring.

“The more it grew, the more it looked like a bear,” Su told Chinese state TV channel CGTN.
