Funding for research and innovation in Greece from the Recovery Fund will exceed 500 million euros, said Deputy Minister of Research & Technology Christos Dimas in a post on social media.
“Today at the meeting of the presidents of the Research Centers we discussed the issues of the agenda. The focus is on the utilization of the resources of the Recovery Fund and the financing opportunities offered for the strengthening of the research activity”, the deputy minister states and adds:
“Among other things, we are upgrading and expanding the infrastructure of the Research Centers and strengthening the basic and applied research.
At the same time, we are supporting all the sciences horizontally, creating new flagship actions, strengthening research programs and promoting reforms for the innovation ecosystem. ”
