Chr. Spirtzis: We expect a big apology for yesterday’s unacceptable announcement by the Ministry of Citizen Protection

“We expect a big apology for yesterday’s unacceptable announcement by the Ministry of Citizen Protection”, Christos Spirtzis emphasizes in a statement.

The head of the Citizen Protection department of SYRIZA-PS reports that “the ministers of the Mitsotakis government do not miss an opportunity to accuse SYRIZA-PS of allegedly creating false impressions regarding the country’s attitude, under ND government, to refugees, rights, watch” and that “yesterday, according to the usual propaganda tactics of the staff state, the Ministry of Citizen Protection repeated these accusations in the same pattern”.

Mr. Spirtzis adds that in his announcement the ministry actually cited the information he received as head of the Citizen Protection Department of SYRIZA-PS “from Mr. Theodorikakos about the refugees and immigrants who could not be located on the islet, which is located outside the Greek territory”. But, notes the head of the SYRIZA sector, “today, the events refute the information that we received institutionally: Suddenly, the immigrants were also found and came to the Greek territory”. “These are tactics that discredit the institutions and tarnish the country,” he comments.

Mr. Spirtzis adds finally in the form of a postscript: “We wish everyone a happy birthday and good health. Happy birthday also to the celebrating Minister of Citizen Protection, Mr. Takis Theodorikakos. We also hope, for the good of the country and the Greek people, that he is in charge of the time, together with Mr. Mitsotakis, the burden of governing the country”.
