At the same time, he thanked for their contribution the outgoing Secretary General of Tax Policy and Public Property Mrs. Athena Kalyva and the outgoing Special Secretary for Private Debt Management Mr. Fotis Kourmousis.

“As a Government and as a Ministry of Finance, in the 2.5 years of our term, we have worked hard, methodically and responsibly and -despite the adverse international conditions- we have achieved strategic goals.
Objectives include, among other things, tax cuts, effective support for households and businesses in the face of the effects of the health crisis, and the implementation of key reforms, such as the new, coherent, socially-owned private debt management framework and the introduction of tax incentives for attracting investment and human capital from abroad.
In the achievement of these goals, the contribution of the outgoing Secretary General of Tax Policy and Public Property, Mrs. Athena Kalyva and the outgoing Special Secretary for Private Debt Management Mr. Fotis Kourmousis.
Both handled sensitive issues with a high sense of responsibility, efficiency and social justice.
