Chris Brown: Discovery to release documentary about domestic violence case

THE InvestigationDiscovery will release, on October 27th, the documentary “Chris Brown: A History of Violence” which will focus on the domestic violence case involving singer Chris Brown 35.

The production will revisit the North American’s relationship with the singer Rihanna 36, which lasted from 2007 to 2009. At the trial, the singer pleaded guilty and was sentenced to serve a five-year conditional release sentence and respect a restriction order that forced him to stay away from the voice of “Umbrella” and “Work”.

The documentary promises to delve into Chris Brown’s past since his troubled childhood and questions how a man with a history of domestic violence can maintain a position as a global star. The records are weighted by expert documentaries and cultural analyzes to reflect on the destruction caused by aggression after abuse.

“Chris Brown is an incredible and talented musician, but let’s call it one thing. He is an abuser of women”, says an excerpt from the production teaser, which is part of the “No Excuse For Assault” campaign.

The singer of “With You” and “Loyal” announced, on Monday (30), that he will come to Brazil and perform in the city of São Paulo on December 21st. Chris Brown will perform at the Allianz Parque stadium, located in the west of São Paulo; sales start on Thursday (3).
