Chris Cuomo claimed he would “kill them all,” including himself, when he was fired from CNN. The show “Cuomo Prime Time” presented by the brother of the former governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, was often CNN’s most popular. The dismissal came after an investigation into his efforts to help his brother answer on charges of sexual harassment.
Chris Cuomo, 52, told former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci on his Open Book with Anthony Scaramucci podcast: “I had to accept my firing because I wanted to kill everyone, including myself.”
The journalist admitted that he “made a lot of mistakes” and started treatment afterwards his “removal” by CNN bosses.

Cuomo has returned to television on NewsNation, but revealed he is embarrassed by his show’s low ratings.
“At CNN, I wasn’t set up to be No. 1 either. I wasn’t the big name there, I didn’t have the big team, they didn’t advertise me. But I was still No. 1. Why? Because it was the best show. Because I was giving the world what it needed at that moment.”
At NewsNation, however, Chris knows the audience is “small” and that “people don’t want to watch.” “It’s kind of embarrassing. I will never be No1 again.”
