The world of entertainment is eagerly awaiting the release of Britney Spears’ new memoir, “A Mulher em Mim”, which will be published by Buzz Editora in Brazil, on October 24th.
After “People” magazine revealed an excerpt in which the singer claims to have had an abortion of her child with Justin Timberlake, there is a lot of speculation about which other famous people will be mentioned in the book.
In an interview on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” program this week, singer Christina Aguilera was asked about the presence of her own name in the memoir.
Host Jimmy asked if she was told by Britney that she would be in the book. “Man, I don’t know. I don’t know,” Christina replied. “I hope everything is fine with her. Everything is beautiful. The future should be celebrated,” she added.
Jimmy insisted: “If you had to choose whether to participate or not?” Christina laughed and stammered to try to come up with an answer: “You mean, really? Really?”, she says finally.
“I would like to participate,” Jimmy joked. “Maybe you’re in it. Listen, I’d rather it be you than me,” Christina finally said.
It is worth remembering that Christina had already been mentioned in a published excerpt, in which Britney talks about her time on “The Mickey Mouse Club”, when the two were co-workers and still children, but without any controversial information.
After that, the two built careers in the world of pop music in parallel, and even participated in a joint performance with Madonna at the 2003 VMAs.
In the interview, Christina also talked about her passion for Halloween and Christmas and her new residency in Las Vegas, which will begin on December 30th.
