Christina Applegate revealed on his podcast “MesSy” this Tuesday (14) that he experienced an eating disorder while recording the series “Um Amor de Família”. She said she only ate five almonds a day because I wanted to keep the bones “out” .
Between 1987 and 1997 the actress played Kelly Bundy on the series, starting at just 15 years old. Weighing 49 kilos and measuring 1.65m, Applegate said that the cast spoke to her, as they realized that she wasn't eating.
“If I ate six [amêndoas], I cried and didn’t want to leave the house. And that stayed with me for years and years and years,” said the actress. She recalled a time when her neighbor called her fat, which she suggested was a trigger for the disorder.
Christina said that her mother put her on a weight loss program, “Weight Watchers”, because she noticed that she was competitive and would reach her goal. “It was f***ing torture,” she commented on the podcast.
At the beginning of the month, the actress revealed during the podcast that she had a crisis caused by multiple sclerosis and thought she would no longer walk. “My legs have never been this bad, so I don’t know what’s going on. […] I can’t make them stop hurting,” she said. Applegate revealed her diagnosis in 2021, saying that she has 30 lesions on her brain and that she went through episodes in which she couldn't sleep because she couldn't close her eyes.
