Chronus – new clock, weather and calendar widget for CM10.1 on desktop and lock screen. As a result of some initial confusion about the use of the name “Lock Clock” for the clock widget in CyanogenMod 10.1, in particular, users did not realize that it could be used as a home screen widget, the decision was made to rename the widget to Chronus, romanized the name of Chronos, the god of time.
To customize the widget, look under System Options. Users can customize the clock display, as well as turn on and customize the weather and calendar.
Once configured, the widget can be added to the desktop and lock screen like any other widget. Please note that the configuration is universal – it applies to all instances of the widget.
By setting the widget on the screen, change its size to suit your needs.
On the lock screen, the widget is displayed in a “minimized” state. To view the full version of a widget, “maximize” it by swiping down on it. We are looking into ways to change this behavior without impacting users.
On a tablet, the lock screen widget is displayed in the “maximum” state by default.
