Church in Switzerland uses an artificial hologram of Jesus for confessions by Catholic believers. “I was surprised, it was so easy, and even though it’s a machine, it gave me so much advice,” one worshiper told DW describing his experience at St. Peter’s Church in Lucerne. Called Deus in Machina, the futuristic shrine features a confessional chamber with a screen that projects Jesus’ face through the slit.
