German automaker Opel has announced the launch of its new crossover, Crossland, on the Russian market. Starting from April 6, it is available for pre-order from the official dealers of the brand.
Opel Crossland is a compact crossover for urban conditions, which is made in the corporate identity of the Vizor with integrated headlights, radiator grille and branded logo. Also, speaking about the exterior of the car, it is worth noting LED fog lights, protective linings at the front and rear, chrome window moldings, 16- or 17-inch wheels and taillights made in the form of fenders. Inside, the driver and passenger are greeted with updated ergonomic seats with all kinds of adjustments and a large trunk, whose volume is 410 liters, and with the rear seats folded, it triples – up to 1255 liters.
Already in the basic configuration there is ABS, ESP, an uphill start assist system, front and front side airbags, air conditioning, parking sensors, light and tire pressure sensors. And for an additional fee, an optional panoramic glass roof, head-up display, leather-trimmed seats, driver fatigue monitoring and blind spot monitoring, as well as a panoramic rear-view camera and automatic braking system when detecting pedestrians in front of the car or the likelihood of a head-on collision, are available as options. Especially for the Russian market, the crossover additionally received a metal engine protection, a small-sized spare tire, a 150A generator and a high-capacity battery.
The Opel Crossland is offered in four different configurations. Moreover, all four models received a 1.2-liter gasoline engine with 110 horsepower paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and an intelligent IntelliGrip drive system with different operating modes, including for driving on snow, mud and sand.
The cost of the Opel Crossland in the basic configuration is 1,699,000 rubles. The version with the Edition prefix will cost 1,899,000 rubles, the Elegance package will cost 1,979,000 rubles. The most expensive model is the Opel Crossland Ultimate – 2,119,000 rubles. When buying a car, you can count on a standard 3-year warranty or 100,000 km, whichever comes first.
