Vandalized clinic

Police try to listen to beautician

According to delegate Eduardo Luís Ferreira, from the 27th DP of São Paulo (Campo Belo), Natalia left the clinic after the incident and since then, the police have no information about his whereabouts. “Right now it is becoming clear that, yes, she escaped from prison in the act.”

“Yesterday [segunda-feira, dia 3], it was informed that she would no longer be at the clinic because when she found out about the episode, she had felt ill and gone to the hospital. They indicated two likely hospitals where she could have gone –her husband himself indicated–, but we were there yesterday, we came back today and, in fact, that didn’t happen. She was not in those hospitals where they said she would have gone,” said the delegate.

Ferreira adds that the police went to the address indicated as the beautician’s residence, but did not find her. “We went there and got the information that they hadn’t lived there for about three months. So, there are several factors that lead us to believe that, in fact, what happened yesterday was an escape from a prison in the act. Because if she had been taken here yesterday, she would certainly have been charged with a crime.”

The case was registered as suspicious death and now treated as homicide . “Since yesterday, on the occasion of the opening of our police investigation, as soon as we learned of the young man’s death, we have been working with the hypothesis of homicide. In other words: someone caused someone’s death. Either negligently or, possibly, intentionally. We still don’t know for sure the definition of what type of homicide we have there”, explained the delegate.
