City of SP will have four times the population for Alok's show

The inland city of Gavião Peixoto, located in the central region of São Paulo, could see its population “quadruple” when it receives a free concert by Alok next Wednesday (27). The municipality has around 4,800 inhabitants and made 20,000 tickets available for the DJ's performance.

Tickets were announced and made available by Gavião Peixoto city hall and could be redeemed online. City residents also received a batch of a thousand tickets to be collected physically. The event is already sold out.

The initiative is part of the celebration of the city's 28th anniversary. In addition to Alok, the municipality also hosts the country duo Ícaro and Gilmar on Thursday (28) and singer Yasmin Santos on Friday (29). The event starts at 8pm and takes place at the Parque Industrial Events Center.

According to information released by Gavião Peixoto city hall on social media, tickets for the show are personal and non-transferable and to attend the show it is necessary to present the ticket voucher and a photo ID.

“Everything was planned, in detail, so that we have control of the entire situation, at DJ Alok's show. Gavião Peixoto is open to welcome those who got their voucher and to maintain the tradition of good events”, said Mayor Adriano Marçal in a statement published on social media.

Special operation in Gavião Peixoto for Alok show

According to a statement on the networks, the Military Police will reinforce policing in the city, carrying out inspections and controls at the entrance to the city and in the vicinity of the event.

There will be around 50 agents on the day of the show, in addition to a team of 150 people hired exclusively to act as private security guards, fire brigade and public guidance.

The Highway Police will also monitor the Washington Luiz (SP-310) and Deputado Victor Maida (SP-331) highways, in addition to the side roads that give access to Gavião Peixoto (Leonardo Cruz, Dr. Nelson Barbieri and Cottar Tannuri).
