The Rio Grande do Norte Civil Police launched, on the afternoon of Thursday (27), an operation with the objective of combat the performance of organized crime in several neighborhoods of Natal.
Operation Sentinel was supported by the Integrated Center for Air Operations (Ciopaer) and the State Secretariat of Public Security and Social Defense (SESED).

Prison warrants were served in the Cidade da Esperança neighborhoods, New City, Felipe Camarão, Mother Luiza, New Discovery, Lagoa Seca and in the communities of Passo da Pátria and Vila de Ponta Negra.
The court orders are mostly aimed at investigated for murder, drug trafficking, theft and criminal organization.
Authorities point out that qualified repression actions will be intensified to ensure greater security to the population.
The Civil Police reinforces the importance of the collaboration of society and guides that anonymous reports can be made by the Denunciation Dial 181.
