A couple of civil police, identified as Gabriele Ferreira Santos and Luciano do Nascimento Costa, was found shot dead in the Cosmorama neighborhood of Mesquita, a city located in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro. The case occurred at dawn on Tuesday (18).
Military police of the 20th BPM (mosque) were called for a firearm shots. Arriving at the scene, they found Gabriela, 26, and Luciano, 48, dead. Both were police officers of the 11th DP (Rocinha).
The delegate responsible for the case, André Felippe, said there are evidence that the man would have killed his wife and then committed suicide.
Also according to the delegate, the information is that the couple did not usually fight. However, he says the investigation is not over yet.
Gabriela’s funeral was at 2:30 pm on Tuesday and the burial will be at 4:30 pm at the Mesquita State Cemetery.
