Cláudia said that on the ten-year anniversary of “Cheias de Charme”, in 2012, when the PEC das Domésticas was debated — a constitutional amendment giving new rights to domestic workers in Brazil —, there was a desire on the part of the cast to resume the story of the soap opera. .
“It was a very important social moment to talk about Empreguetes”, reflected the actress.
In the plot, domestic workers Maria da Penha, Maria do Rosário and Maria Aparecida come together to defend their rights and create a musical group, Empreguetes.
The villain played by Cláudia Abreu, Chayene, is a famous electroforró singer — and the boss of one of the young women — who rivals the trio and tries to separate them throughout the chapters of the soap opera.

The actress recalled during the interview that she began participating in the recordings shortly after the birth of her fourth child, Pedro Henrique — as soon as her maternity leave came to an end.
“It was very challenging because I spent the nights awake breastfeeding and, the next day, I had to learn the music, learn the choreography for the show, go to the studio to record the tracks, take part in performances by famous singers,” she commented.
In addition to adjusting her schedule to take care of the children, Claudia said she felt challenged because it was her first comedic role on television — which, in addition to her strong accent, required training in her singing and dancing skills.
“I always tried to accept characters that gave me the opportunity to be versatile and I thought Chayene was a wonderful opportunity for that, to do something that I had never seen myself doing on TV and it was one of the most popular and fun soap operas I participated in”, said the actress at CNN .
