The actress Claudia Ohana 61, posted, on Instagram, this Thursday (5), a sequence of photos characterized as Tieta a soap opera he starred in in 1989, and is being shown again on “Worth Seeing Again”.
“35 years later I still feel like a Tieta. This cheesy thing that lives in me”, wrote Claudia in the caption of the Instagram post.
“My dream was for you to play Tieta in a remake!” commented one internet user. “Best Tieta possible,” said another. “Beautiful as always”, praised another.
Originally broadcast between 1989 and 1990, the story inspired by the novel “Tieta do Agreste”, by Jorge Amado, became one of the most watched productions in the history of Brazilian TV.
The story follows Tieta (Claudia Ohana in the first phase), being chased away from her hometown by her own father, Zé Esteves (Sebastião Vasconcelos), who does not accept the young woman’s liberal behavior, in addition to being influenced by the intrigues of his other daughter, Perpetua (Adriana Canabrava).
After a passage of time of 25 years, the protagonist (Betty Faria in the second stage), who now lives in São Paulo, reappears in Santana in Agreste, completely different: rich and determined to take revenge on everyone who mistreated her in the past.
Bringing even more discomfort to the family, Tieta also gets involved with her nephew Richard (Cássio Gabus Mendes), son of his treacherous sister (Joana Fomm in the new period).
Residents will also be surprised by the installation of a titanium dioxide factory in the city, which, in addition to development, will have an environmental impact on the region.
