Claudia Pandolfi: «My future influencer children? There is no risk “

Claudia Pandolfi is one of the protagonists of the new series All Freud’s fault (from 26 February on Prime Video and in the autumn on Canale 5), based on the successful film of the same name by Paolo Genovese. After Marco Giallini, to take on the role of psychologist Francesco Taramelli, is Claudio Bisio.

Here too she finds herself struggling with the return home of her three daughters. Martha (Marta Gastini), the eldest, graduated in archeology, is on paper the perfect daughter and instead has some problems to solve with her lover, Sara (Caterina Shulha) is in the process of getting married to Philip, but plans are blown after meeting with Niki, Emma, leaving for London and with the dream of becoming influence, returns to Milan after meeting at the airport Claudio (Luca Bizzarri), a marketing guru.

Francesco he does not believe his eyes, he begins to have panic attacks and to take anxiolytics. He doesn’t know what fish to take. For its part Freud suggests the analyst: that’s when he chooses Anna (Claudia Pandolfi), a doctor known in the hospital after the first attack (which he diagnosed as a heart attack). At his side there is also Matteo (Max Tortora), the neighbor and friend of the family, born in Rome and transplanted to Milan for years now. Claudia’s character slowly enters the life of the Taramelli family. It will be she who awakens Francesco / Bisio from hibernation and makes his mind less blurred. “My relationship with psychoanalysis has been redeeming», confesses the actress, now working on the set of the new film by Paolo Virzì, “I believe a lot, obviously in the series it is a food for thought, here in fact we talk more about family, human and sentimental relationships».

Anna, in addition to being Francesco’s psychologist, we will also find out a little seductress: “I can’t say much”, Claudia stops us, my character is a doctor, but at some point it will have to do with the game of seduction. You will see how ».

In All Freud’s fault there is also talk of influence. And if one day your children (Gabriele and Tito) want to take that path, how would you react? “I don’t think there is this risk”, the Roman actress replies without hesitation, “I am happy that none of my children, certainly Tito is still small (5 years in March ed), has an urgent need to flaunt himself. Anyway, I’d say, “Honey, my whole life I’ve been trying not to be influenced.”

Instead Claudia is worried about them “Because they won’t have the tools that I had at their disposal, they will not be able to enjoy relationships where human contact is expected, they will probably grow up in a world where the representation of the smallness of man is filtered through a screen », she is convinced. “We are underestimating this cultural problem, and if the gap becomes larger we risk emptying ourselves.”
