Climate of caution in markets with death of Shinzo Abe; Benefits PEC advances

Former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe died on Friday at the age of 67 after being shot during a speech in the western Japanese city of Nara.

In Tokyo, the index Nikkei rose 0.10% to 26,517.19 points, reflecting the behavior of Wall Street but having the gains erased at the end of trading after the attack on Abe.

And the Benefits PEC advanced on Thursday (7), after being approved by the Chamber’s special committee by 36 votes in favor and 1 against. Now, the text will go to the plenary to be voted on next Tuesday.
