Climate tours throughout France

Just four weeks before the first round of the presidential election on April 10, 150 climate rallies are being held today across France.

The aim of the demonstrations is to remind the candidates that despite the heavy Ukrainian news, it is not possible to ignore the climate, which currently covers only 3% in statements and discussions.

“Look UP” is the slogan in English given for the marches, inspired and in contrast to “Do not look up”, the title of the famous film with Leonardo DiCaprio, about a nightmarish danger for the universe.

In Paris, the march is scheduled for 3 hours Greece from the east of the capital, to end in the center, in the Place de la République, where another rally for Ukraine will end.

“The debate of the century”

At the same time, the popular “Twitch” platform, organizes tomorrow an unprecedented event exclusively for the climate, with all the candidates invited. They call it “The debate of the century”. Some candidates have already announced their participation, but not Emanuel Macron.

Favorite of the match, with a percentage that approached 30% (+2 points last) and keeping a distance close to 12 points with Marin Lepen, Emanuel Macron has already stated that he will not participate in a debate for the first round.

The slight increase in the polls finally shows that the French are forgiving his absences or shortcomings as a candidate, recognizing the magnitude of the work for his dual role in the presidency of the European Council and the French Presidency. A reasoning rejected by his opponents, but also by those who believe that there are many internal problems that should be discussed by everyone during the election campaign.
