Clinic in Argentina accused of printing same ultrasound photo on expectant mothers

A clinic in Argentina it was accused that printed the same ultrasound examination to all its clients, when a pregnant woman, Antonella, shared what she thought was a 5D scan of her baby on Twitter.

Then, another confused woman responded to the post, noting that she appears to have the same image of her alleged child. After the two women communicated, they realized that both had received the same photograph from the same private clinic.

Later, a third woman contacted them to report that she also had the same image. So the group of mothers-to-be decided to start one online search to find other women who had received the same 5D scan.

Antonella posted the images of the three scans on Twitter and they quickly went viral as they began to investigate the alleged fraud. “For now, we are three moms who we were scammed by a clinic with the image of a baby that is not ours“, she wrote pregnant. “It goes without saying that alongside this, they charged us a lot of money. We are currently looking for more mothers with the same scan to come forward.’

After the post went viral with 5.5 million views, dozens of women contacted the women claiming to have also received the same image. The first three women said they received scans for the boys them, but the same picture seems that it was also used for girlsreferred to nypost.com.

The alleged victims accused the private clinic in Argentina that scams women with fake 5D scans and plan to find more victims before filing a formal complaint with the judicial authorities. They added what they want to raise public awareness about the situation and prevent more women from falling victim to fraud.

One mother said: “I think I have literally the same photo, taken in 2017.
