Clubhouse: here are the rooms that talk about work

You don’t hear about anything else. By now Clubhouse is on everyone’s lips, but still on the mobile phones of a few. For now it is only available for iPhone Addicted.

To understand, however, how to choose among the many rooms available, Marta Basso gives us some advice: she is one of the LinkedIn Top Voices who created the largest community in Italy on the platform born last March by the hand of Paul Davison and Rohan Seth.

Clubhouse Italia was born on 10 January together with Federico Cecchin, graphic designer and cartoonist with two and a half million followers on Tik Tok, e Ana Maria Fella, digital strategist. It has a generalist schedule, a constantly growing number of users and an editorial staff of about thirty people including moderators, admin and content creators specialized on different themes and topics.

«We are like a radio», says Marta, «with a truly varied schedule. My feeling is that Italian rooms do serve to network, and that’s fine, but there are also those who sell you strategies to grow quickly. There is a lot of self-referentiality. That said, you can really find everything, at all hours: from 7 with the press review by Fulvio Ventura, then the horoscope by Stefano Vighi, Buongiornissimo Italia with Francesco Cecchetti and Giulio Gaudiano and much more. It is a social network where you can find a lot of information like that of the journalist Riccardo Cotumaccio who reads the Corriere della Sera, while on the business side we are still behind America ».

And if we looked at the Americans, who would you recommend listening to?
“Surely The European Tech Club, Bobby Umar and Gary Vaynerchuk who has 323,000 followers, a pioneer in web marketing and social media”.

But what does a room have to have to be attractive?
“First the topic, which must be interesting. There must be a theme of education and listening, because there is not yet a real one netiquette. It is always necessary to schedule first, to have a real editorial plan, because when you start a room, then you can no longer send an external link to invite your followers. Another very important feature is that each room must have more than one moderator so that we can get the notification to more and more people. Finally, the quality of the content, which must always be very high. One last thing: constancy! ».
