Starting this Wednesday (6th), the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) promotes a series of debates in allusion to the 200th anniversary of the Independence of Brazil, which will be celebrated on September 7th.
“The objective is to reflect on the evolution achieved by the country over the last 200 years and what are the challenges and perspectives for the next decades in the political, economic, social, industry and education areas”, says the CNI.
The first event, whose theme is the political evolution in these 200 years, runs from 9:30 am to 12 pm and will be broadcast live on YouTube. Watch in the video above.
Among the guests is the former president of the Republic Michel Temer, who opens the series of lectures. Then participate the historian and writer Mary del Priore and political scientists Jairo Nicolau, José Álvaro Moisés and Bolivar Lamounier. The president of the CNI, Robson Braga de Andrade, should also speak at the event.
For the next seminars, debates on development topics are expected, including economic, sustainable, social and industrial issues. The closing should deal with education and citizenship. Check the agenda.
