THE CNN Brazil launches, this Monday (4), its new portal to offer more diversified coverage and a more intuitive arrangement of news calls in desktop versions and for mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets.
With a new home page, the new portal allows access to live coverage from both CNN Brazil such as CNN Money, which premieres this Monday (4), at 8:30 pm, and will have an exclusive area for news from the world of business, financial markets and the economy.
Also a reference in international political coverage, CNN further expands its focus on content such as education, technology, news from the automotive sector, pop culture, sports and regional news.
More than a change of look, with more photos on the home page, CNN is making a strategic move, now as a portal, to enhance digital production and enable better distribution of content from CNN, CNN Internacional and also from content partners — in addition to new spaces for advertisers.
The debut comes at a time when CNN Brazil broke audience records in October on its digital and television platforms.
THE CNN Brazil In October, it achieved its largest audience in the site’s history, with 188.7 million pageviews. It also surpassed the record, for the third consecutive month, of unique users, reaching 55.7M. The number of sessions was the highest since the platform’s debut: 104.5 million in one month.
The new home page also highlights Blogs and content from CNN analysts. The color logic that identifies the different areas of the portal also remains — such as Money and Economy in green, International in yellow, Sports in orange, Pop in pink, Travel & Gastronomy in purple — to make reading easier.
