CNN Nosso Mundo debates mental health during the pandemic with Rodrigo Bressan

O CNN Our World This Friday (18) interviews Rodrigo Bressan, professor and president of Instituto Ame Sua Mente, to talk about mental health and the dangerous effects of Burnout during the pandemic.

Burnout Syndrome (or Burnout Syndrome) is a mental illness caused by extreme burnout related to a person’s professional life.

According to a survey by a Swiss human resources company that gathered 15,000 people in several countries, 38% of respondents reported having suffered from Burnout Syndrome throughout 2021, and 32% also said they had a “significant” worsening of mental health working from home during the pandemic.

Burnout can trigger a series of serious physical problems, such as stroke, for example.

As of that year, Burnout becomes the responsibility of companies – that is, it is no longer considered a psychiatric condition and becomes official as “chronic work stress that has not been successfully managed”.

The idea is that WHO recognition will help create psychologically safer work environments.

O CNN Our World It is shown on Fridays from 10:30 pm.
