CNN Türk: Lie that Turkish fighter jets are violating Greek airspace

What if the violation of Greek airspace by Turkish fighter jets was included as a topic in an official document and even as a prerequisite for Ankara to get F-16s from the US? That says nothing to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s government, as his propaganda machine has already kicked into high gear on the issue ahead of the election.

Thus, according to what is broadcast by CNN Türk, Turkey does not commit violations. These are lies invented by the Greek-American lobby to mislead the Joe Biden administration and turn the US against Ankara.

“The Greek and Greek Cypriot lobbies in the US stepped up their efforts to block the sale of F-16s to Turkey and released a video entitled ‘No to the sale of F-16s to Turkey.’ in Turkey. And this is a video that tries to tarnish the image of our country,” says the purported report of the Turkish channel and presents a video that says exactly the following:

“The Greek and Greek Cypriot lobby in the United States of America, who are mobilizing to block the sale of F-16s to Turkey, started the propaganda. They posted a video on social media with the title ‘No jets for Turkey’. They created the perception that the Turkish fighter jets, with their flights in the Aegean, allegedly violate the Greek airspace”, the video states, and it is pointed out that the Greek-American lobby is to blame for the fact that the US Senate’s Foreign Affairs Committee refused to grant fighter jets to Turkey.
