Netflix confirmed this Friday (20) the 6th and final season of the Cobra Kai series – which the producers classified as the “biggest yet”. There is still no premiere date.
An announcement video was also made, in which the streaming company says, “Cobra Kai never dies! After five incredible seasons, Cobra Kai Season 6 will be the final showdown. The epic conclusion to the decades-long karate saga is coming soon to Netflix.”
Through social networks, William Zabka and Ralph Macchio, who play the characters Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso, respectively, stated that it is time to “finish the fight”.
The series’ producers also thanked the audience in an open letter, saying that “acquainting the world with the Karate Kid universe was our humble honor.”
“Our goal from day one with Cobra Kai has always been to finish our way, leaving the Valley in the time and place we always envisioned. Therefore, it is with immense pride and gratitude that we announce this achievement”, they highlighted.
