Coinbase will allow users to fund their wallet from a Chrome browser extension

Crypto exchange Coinbase has launched a new service, Coinbase Pay, which will allow you to use debit cards for transfers and direct deposits to your Coinbase Wallet.

An entry appeared on the Coinbase blog that today, March 16, the exchange launched a service that allows you to replenish your wallet from a Chrome browser extension.

According to the employees of the American exchange, the Coinbase Pay service should make participation in decentralized finance or DeFi intuitive for everyone, as it will allow you to buy and exchange crypto assets in a few clicks:

“Before Coinbase Pay, users had to move to Coinbase. com, log into your account, copy and paste your wallet address, and manually transfer funds from your Coinbase account. The process was cumbersome and vulnerable to user error. All you have to do now is select ‘Add crypto with Coinbase Pay’ if you want to add crypto to your Coinbase Wallet extension.”

The new service is temporarily available to Coinbase customers in the US and Canada, who can already use their debit cards and bank accounts for transfers. In the near future, the service should become available worldwide.

The company also plans to create its own NFT market. As of press time, the Coinbase NFT waiting list has reached 3.86 million email addresses.
