CryptoCko crypto -browser experts reported that since 2024, the capitalization of the tokenized assets of the real world (RWA) has increased by more than $ 100 billion.

In the report called “when cryptocurrency becomes real,” analysts indicated the rapid revival of the sector. According to them, this trend has become one of the transforming cripto industry of narratives.

“While attention remained to memicons and markets of political forecasts, RWA steadily developed from a niche experiment into one of the most reliable and capitalized sectors in the industry,” Coingecko noted.

In particular, the sector of tokenized treasury papers increased by 544.8%, reaching $ 5.6 billion. The Buidl Buidl Buidl, launched in July 2024, and already holding 44% of the market ($ 2.5 billion), occupied the leading position.

According to researchers, the market capitalization of stablecoins reached a historical maximum of $ 224.9 billion, adding $ 97 billion (76%) in just a year. The main part of the growth was provided by USDT and USDC, which aggregate adding $ 93.9 billion.

The demand for tokenized gold increased sharply against the background of macroeconomic uncertainty. The total capitalization of commodity tokens jumped by 67.8% – up to $ 1.9 billion, while 84% of the market control the assets of XUUT and PAXG.

The lending segment demonstrates a gradual recovery after falling in 2022. The volume of active loans reached $ 546.8 million in April 2025, experts said.

“The RWA market is preparing the basis for a deeper integration of traditional finance with blockchain,” the document reports.

The report emphasizes that the RWA sector is rapidly gaining the trust of institutional investors due to transparency and successful integration with decentralized finance protocols.

Earlier, Coingecko analysts reported that out of 7 million tokens located on the Geckoterminal service since 2021, over 3.6 million stopped functioning.
