Cold front arrival closes time in São Paulo this Tuesday (30)

According to the Climate Emergencies Management Center (CGE) of the City of São Paulo, the capital of São Paulo should register “many clouds and periods of light rain, sometimes moderate, with rapid displacement” on Tuesday (30).

The cause of the instability of the weather is the approach of a cold front on the coast of São Paulo in the next few hours, “which organizes areas of instability and leaves time closed with lower temperatures”.

The CGE pointed out that the region of Butantã and Pinheiros, in the west side of São Paulo, and the neighborhoods of Penha and Ermelino Matarazzo, in the east side, have already registered rain this Tuesday, but with low intensity.

“Rainfall decreases from the end of the afternoon, which should register a maximum of just 24°C, with air humidity rates between 55% and 95%”, says the Center.

According to the CGE’s network of stations, the city’s average temperature is 20°C. Temperatures range from a minimum of 18°C to a maximum of 23°C.

The trend for the coming days is for cloudy weather to settle in the capital. “On Wednesday (01), the cold front moves away, but the winds that start to blow from the southern quadrant favor the entry of moisture and the formation of a lot of cloudiness”, pointed out the CGE.

On Wednesday, the thermometers should oscillate between 17°C and 23°C, humidity should remain at values above 60% and there is potential for drizzle.

“On Thursday (02), the weather conditions improve significantly. Dawn with thermometers around 17°C and overcast sky. The sun appears in the morning among many clouds, which remain throughout the day. The maximum should be around 24°C, with humidity rates above 55%. The day ends with no forecast of rain for the capital of São Paulo”, concluded the CGE.
