A new cold front is expected to establish itself in Brazil this weekend. This change in temperature will cause an increase in rainy conditions between this Friday (24) and next Sunday (26). The information is from Climatempo.
The arrival of this system puts the state of Rio Grande do Sul on alert for the possibility of new rains, but there are no conditions for the cold front to be restricted to the state.
A mass of polar air, which appears following this cold front, is expected to originate in the south of the country on Thursday night (23) and move towards the Brazilian southeast during Friday (24). As a result, the tendency is for some regions of the country to see a drop in temperatures this weekend.
According to Climatempo, São Paulo, the states in the South region, cities in the center-south of Mato Grosso do Sul, some areas of Minas Gerais, regions between the south and interior of Rio de Janeiro and the south of Goiás, may be affected .
Furthermore, this cold air is expected to influence Mato Grosso and cause cold weather between Rondônia and Acre, in the north of the country. Lower minimums and maximums can be considered due to the sharp drop and the exchange of hot air for colder air.
It is worth noting that forecasts continue to see the possibility of this cold front, with autumn patterns, in states in the center-south of the country until the end of the month. From this period onwards, the tendency is for intense periods of heat not to be recorded during consecutive days, but there will also be drier weather conditions and temperatures above 30 °C in some locations.
