The sudden drop in temperature that began on Tuesday (1st) in the capital of São Paulo should remain until Friday (4th). According to information from the Center for Climate Emergency Management of the City of São Paulo (CGE), thermometers can reach 10°C, a temperature that has not been recorded for the month of November since 2011.
The cold air, according to the institute, is atypical for this time of year and is being caused by the passage of a cold front followed by a strong mass of air of polar origin.
In addition to the drop in temperature, the wind coming from the south and southeast should cause even lower thermal sensations.
On Thursday (3), the thermometers should reach the mark of 11ºC during the dawn and the thermal sensation should be below this number in the peripheral regions of the city.
The maximum temperature is expected to be 15°C. The minimum air humidity must be kept above 70% and drizzle must happen, mainly, in the first and last hours of the day.
On Friday (4), light rains happen between dawn and dawn. Afterwards, the sun appears between clouds throughout the day. Temperatures must fluctuate between a minimum of 10°C and a maximum of 17°C.
According to meteorologists, the cold front reaches the South, Southeast and North regions of the country. Frosts are forecast for Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Paraná.
