Colombia gang leader arrested for sending drugs to Europe on sailboats

A Norwegian national, accused of being the head of a ring that trafficked cocaine from Latin America to Europe by sailboat, was arrested yesterday in Bogota, Colombian police announced. As separate “investigations carried out by international agencies” showed, the arrested man “had criminal ties with the so-called Clan del Golfo (a.k.a.
