Color Gear Lite Is a handy free application that helps you create harmonious color palettes. To find the perfect color combination, designers and artists use color theory and its foundation: the color wheel and harmonic schemes. You don’t have to be a color expert to use our app – it’s a multi-tasking yet simple tool for working with color and palettes.
Use a color wheel that suits your task
The application supports two color models – RGB color wheel and RYB color wheel (Itten’s model). RGB (primary colors – red, green, blue) is used to reproduce colors on digital media. The RYB color model (primary colors – red, yellow, blue) refers to color in the form of paint and pigment in art and design. For RGB and RYB color wheel, you can apply one of 10+ color harmonies.

Turn images into palettes
Select the desired picture from your phone and the application algorithms will find the base colors in the image. Then you can easily choose the colors you like from the collection and save the palette. In addition, you can spot the desired colors in the image using the color picker.

This feature gives you the ability to save the palette along with your uploaded image. Choose a layout, place a palette on an image, share on social networks or via messenger, save to your device.
Accurate palette editing
In order for your palette to look harmonious in practice, it is very important to balance the quantitative ratio of color in your work. In the editor’s carousel, you can see how the colors of the palette look in different proportions. By clicking on an individual color in the editable palette, you can easily and accurately edit the color values (hue, saturation, brightness).
Easy to manage palettes
We have implemented convenient saving, export and deletion of color palettes. To share the palette, simply select the export mode – image with all information or text with HEX codes. You can always copy the individual color code below the color swatch to the clipboard. Six color formats are available in the palette information (RGB, HEX, LAB, HSV, HSL, CMYK).
