Based on a true story, “The White Powder Bear” which even became a joke at this year’s Oscars, hits Brazilian theaters this Thursday (30).
Directed by also an actress Elizabeth Banks (“Pitch Perfect” and “The Hunger Games”), the feature tells the story of a bear who ingests considerable amounts of cocaine by accident, which ends up interfering with his behavior and putting people in danger.
The production marks the last appearance of Ray Liotta (“Goodfellas” and “Field of Dreams”) on the big screen. He died in May 2022 at the age of 67.
This week also brings a new thriller from Liam Neeson (“The Pursuit” and “Schindler’s List”) to theaters. This time, he is a private investigator, who is hired to find the ex-lover of an ambitious heiress.
Diane Kruger (“The Legend of the Lost Treasure” and “Troy”) and Jessica Lange (“King Kong” and “American Horror Story”) are also in the cast.
Horror fans can celebrate because a new production of the genre has hit the big screen: “The First Communion” by the same director of “The Cursed One” .
The production tells the story of Sara, a teenager who has just arrived in the province of Tarragona, Spain, in the 1980s.
Shy, the girl can’t fit in and when she decides to venture into a nightclub, the night turns out differently than planned. On the way home, Sara and her friend the Rebe come across a girl, in the middle of the road, dressed for her first communion. From this moment on, a nightmare begins.
In addition to premieres, “Creed III” , “John Wick 4: Baba Yaga” , “Shazam! Gods Fury” , “Panic VI” and more are still showing in theaters.
