The Commission has concluded an agreement with Pfizer / BioNtech for 1.8 billion doses of vaccines for the period 2021-2023, as reported by Ursula von der Leyen.
“I am pleased to announce that the Commission has just approved an agreement for 900 million installments (+900 million extra) with Pfizer / BioNtech for 2021-2023. “Other contracts and other vaccine technologies will follow,” he wrote on Twitter.
