Common Military Gymnasiums of Armenia – Iran

Iran and Armenia are expected to be completed today by joint military high schools along their common borders, amid tensions for the Iranian nuclear program and with the long -standing rivalry of Armenia and Azerbaijan. The Armenian Ministry of Defense announced yesterday that the gymnasiums, involving special forces on both sides, would take place on both sides of the 44km remote border shared by the two countries. The Armenian YPAM also stressed that the two sides will do exercises to respond to “attacks by simulated terrorist groups” on border control points. “The purpose of these high schools is to consolidate the security of the border on the basis of the common interests of the two countries,” a revolutionary official in Iranian media media said.
