Compadre Washington had a hypertensive crisis after feeling sick at a show, says medical bulletin

Singer Compadre Washington, from É o Tchan!, had a hypertensive crisis on Tuesday morning (27), according to a medical bulletin. He is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Mater Dei Hospital after feeling sick during a presentation in Bahia on Monday night (26).

The band was playing a show in the city of São Sebastião do Passé, located in the metropolitan region of Salvador, but had to interrupt it for medical attention to the artist.

According to the singer’s advisory, he had discomfort in the abdominal region and was taken to the Albino Leitão Municipal Hospital. The band member É O Tchan was transferred to Hospital Martedei in Salvador, where he is hospitalized.

The singer is clinically stable, with stabilized blood pressure, lucid and resting, says a note published on social networks.

Compadre Washington still does not have a hospital discharge forecast.
