The Municipality of Lavreotiki will proceed with a complete regeneration of the Palm Forest. This will include the low planting of the whole area, the irrigation, the change of the fencing, as well as the reinforcement in planting material and in the luminaires. The urban equipment will be completely changed and a modern and certified playground will be formed, as well as the installation of appropriate outdoor training equipment.
The relevant contract has already been signed and the total budget was set at 448,243.57 euros, with funding from the Green Fund and from the Municipality’s own resources for the amount of 172,937.57 euros.
The time horizon for the completion of the works reaches eight months. This is because the goal of the municipal authority is until the summer, both the citizens and the visitors of Finikodados to be able to enjoy its park and what it offers.
